Operate and monitor equipment used in the production and processing of oil and gas.
Ensure process parameters remain within operational limits.
Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and minor maintenance.
Record production data and prepare shift reports.
Respond to alarms and process deviations promptly and safely.
Maintain safe working practices and comply with HSE standards.
Assist in startup, shutdown, and emergency operations.
Work closely with maintenance and instrumentation teams during plant interventions.
OND/HND or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Process Operator in oil & gas, petrochemical, or refinery operations.
Good understanding of process safety and control systems.
Ability to read P&IDs and technical manuals.
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
Knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs), emergency shutdowns, and permit-to-work systems is an advantage.
